This 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser Troopcarrier is available now from the Shop Clubs Auto Group. The Troopy was purchased by its current owner from Utah, and is currently registered in Seattle, WA with a clean title in hand. This truck has undergone a $100,000 overlanding build with Torfab Custom Cruisers here in Seattle. The gauge cluster currently shows just over 780,000 kilometers on the body, though every system has been gone through from top to bottom. The original motor was replaced by the highly desirable 1HD-FT motor paired with an upgraded Grunter G3 turbo. With just under 100,000 original miles on it, the rebuilt motor was owned and awaiting a perfect transplant by Torfab Custom Cruisers in Everett, WA. We have all receipts from the build at Torfab, shown in photos.
The truck is finished in white paint that was recently resprayed with tinted windows and is equipped with ARB Metal Rocksliders and 5 Method Offroad Wheels. The ARB offroad front bumper and bull-bar assembly holds a Smittybuilt Winch, a Synthetic Rope, and Remote Hookup. The ARB Onboard Compressor also features front bumper mounted hookups. A suite of ARB Intensity LED lighting includes 4 driving spotlights, 2 fog lights, underglow, 6 Rigid corner lights, and bumper-mounted reverse lights and a Switchpro hookup and mounting system. The suspension has also been upgraded with Old Man Emu BP51 Shocks and stiffer OEM add-a-leaf rear leaf springs.
The Alucab Roof Top Tent and Hercules Awning were imported by the current owner from Australia, which turned out to be an 8 month process, but well worth the wait! The topper and awning are the best you can get for an overlander and only takes one person minutes to set up. With a Webasto Diesel Heater, ARB Slide-Out Fridge and 100W Rooftop Solar Panels, there is no reason you can’t leave the noise of the city and escape to your own oasis.
This Cruiser has no issues and is ready to head out into the woods for weeks on end. This is a one-of-a-kind Land Cruiser, and no expense was spared on the overlanding build. It was enjoyed by the current owner and taken on many trips across the western US. His children are grown now, and he is ready to move on to a different project.
This truck has been modified significantly in almost every aspect to be the ultimate overlanding rig.
